Mission:

Kite Zombies is a progressive business with a grassroots advocacy and environmental objective. Our mission is to use the power of business to protect waters and ecosystems which are of prime concern to the kiteboarding community and life on this planet. Several programs support the mission including stewardship & conservation, education, access, and support of environmental groups with like goals. We cultivate a relationship with the kiteboarding industry and kiting community to foster social and environmental responsibility.

Organization:

Kite Zombies is a kiteboarding specific website operated under the direction of Prolithic Sports. Kite Zombies was conceived to harness the power of business as well as the individual to counter environmental decline.

History & Practice:

The parent company of Kite Zombies, Prolithic Sports, has been in business since 1994 and operates three websites; Prolithic.com, VictoryNutrition.com and this website. Our business practice is based on honesty, integrity, and customer satisfaction. We are a small business so this practice is more than just lip service, it's personal and a reason we stand the test of time.

Our Environmental Business Policy:

We strive to minimize our impact on the planet! We are located in beautiful Northern California and want to keep it that way. Below are a few steps we are taking to safe-guard the environment:

• Produce less waste by practicing the 3 R's: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle
• Collect and recycle packing material from within the community to be reused by our shipping department.
• Some of us live on premise which means no commuting!
• Stock and specify organic products and ingredients whenever possible.
• Purchase Clean Renewable Energy: Over 80% of our electricity is obtained from the wind.
