800-969-6199
Snowkiters go through base wax faster than anyone I know. Think about, when snowkiting you are constantly sliding, no sitting on a lift, no climbing with skins, just pure sliding bliss... until your wax wears off. When your wax wears off you know it!
Rub/Buff/Scrape/Buff - Iron Not Required
An easy to carry tool everyone can use. The U-Wax System gives you a no hassle, on-the-hill applicator to create a perfectly waxed surface, for any snow condition.
The Patent-Pending U-Wax System is a "completely green" product made from recycled plastic, eco-friendly cork, and the the best all-temperature waxe on the market today - Hertel Super Hot Sauce. The handy cap can be used to easily re-form wax onto your scraper body. By reloading your U-Wax tool you'll never run out of wax.
How U-Wax Works
A newly waxed surface provides an easy turning ski or snowboard, which means more control, eliminating "fighting" with your equipment. Until now, self-tuning has always required experience in scraping, waxing, and buffing, or a shop to apply a good hot wax surface. The sleek U-Wax System supplies wax, scraper, and buffer in an easy to carry unit. Select from a choice of five colors, and three types of systems:
Using U-Wax
U-Wax can be used at the car, on the hill, or anytime you need a fresh waxed base. If applied every 4-6 hours of riding time, U-Wax can be used all season without hot waxing. Combining U-Wax and hot waxing extends the periods between hot waxes, and will extend the time between applications.
Application - Rub, Buff, Scrape, Buff - Iron Not Required
- Clean the surface area with a rag or towel. Always apply wax to a clean surface. If applying on the hill, be sure to clean snow off prior to use.
- Rub on wax with the built-in applicator.
- Buff over the wax with the built-in cork buffer; this will press the wax into the ski base
- Scrape the surface with the built-in scraper.
- Buff one more time for a fast slippery surface.
