Universal ORANGE strut bladders with no valves attached. Purchase our U-STICK valves separately to assemble replacements for almost any kite ever made.
Orange Strut Bladders:
- Lighter, stronger, faster. ORANGE is an AIRTIME kite innovation. Let kite designers build the kites, let the bladder experts improve the bladders.
- Airtime ORANGE strut bladders are between 35%-50% lighter than stock bladders. Reduce the weight of the average 14m, 7 strut bow kite, by almost an entire pound (454 grams).
- Airtime ORANGE bladders were designed to be strong. Airtime redesigned the very material that bladders are made from to make them resistant to damage from twists, improper installs, and unsupported bladder ends. ORANGE bladders are stronger than any other bladder ever offered for kites. If you've ever had a blown bladder tip ruin a good session you'll love ORANGE.
- Take weight off your kite and your bound to feel a difference. The material is not only about half the weight of traditional bladder material, but is much stiffer. Installing these bladders into your existing kite, not only makes it become much lighter, but the tubes also become much stiffer and no longer require as much air pressure to achieve the rigidity required by most modern kites. Put in simply - it makes your kite faster through the air!
Made right here in our own factory in the USA.
The bladders are measured from the head to tail in inches (we fudge a bit because we know the bladder can be longer but CAN'T be shorter than the original). If you have your bladder out measure head to tail and choose whatever size is equal or longer to your original (don't fudge on the measurement or you'll get yourself in trouble).
Airtime bladders are the only oversized bladders available. There are many benefits to using oversized bladders. The sewn leading edge sleeve provides the strength and shape for your kite while the bladder works as a membrane to contain the air. An oversized bladder never fully expands inside the sleeve thus eliminating stress on the plastic and the seam.
This new system is comprised of bladders without valves and an assortment of valves that you can peel and stick wherever you want. You choose the size bladder you need then you choose the valves you want. You can quickly configure a bladder to match almost any kite in production. We haven't even mentioned how convenient these are for travel. Imagine one bladder for any kite in your quiver.
The length of the leading edge is measured from tip to tip across the top seam, or the top of the arc formed when inflated. Choose the l.e. bladder that is the same length or longer.
Struts are measured from tip to tail with the tail closure open. Choose the strut bladder that is the same length or longer.
